I'm Sonia Thomas.

Driven. Expert gift giver. Lover of laughter and 90s alt music. Native New Yorker with a huge heart.

The CEO and visionary behind Soni Stylez Events, a premier event company based in Dallas, Texas. The humble beginnings of this company began while I was enrolled at the University at Albany in New York and organized events for various clubs and organizations. To date, I have coordinated more than 100 celebratory weddings and soirees for individuals and corporate clients across the United States and internationally. While earning my MBA from Pace University appeased my affection for spreadsheets, data, and organization, coordinating events sparked my passion for creativity and collaboration.

There is something special about helping people capture special moments that inspires me to bring their vision to life. My team and I enjoy collaborating with our clients, walking them through the various stages of the process, and witnessing their joy as they see their vision unfold before them.

Fun Facts

My closest friends call me Soni, instead of Sonia. I figured if you trust me with overseeing one of your most memorable moments, you have earned that right as well.

I speak three languages: English, Malayalam, and Spanish.

J-Lo is not the only girl from the Bronx. I also represent The Boogie Down.

In addition to living in New York and Texas, I also lived overseas in Ireland.

I am a foodie and haven't met a cocktail I couldn't recreate.

If I could raid anyone’s closet, it would be Carrie Bradshaw. A girl can't have enough shoes.
